Weekly Breakdown:

All sessions will be 45-50 minutes with 10-15 minutes for Q&A

Week 1: Learn the difference between Baby Led Weaning and the traditional approach to feeding. Uncover what current research tells us about starting solids and learn about the division of responsibility in feeding babies and children.

Week 2: Learn how to identify when your baby is ready for solid foods and what to expect when beginning solids. Gain an understanding of which foods to begin with and how to create a feeding plan that works for you and your baby.

Week 3: Learn about important nutrients to consider when introducing solids and what to expect with changes in digestion. Gain an understanding of the difference between choking and gagging. Learn how to modify foods that are choking hazards for your baby, as well as which foods to avoid before age one.

Week 4: Learn infant and toddler CPR from a Registered Nurse, who will offer a hands-on approach and feedback on technique.

Week 5: Learn about common allergenic foods, how and when to introduce allergens, and what to do in case of an allergic reaction.

Week 6: Learn about other important foods to offer your baby and how to offer them to help your baby develop into a good eater. Get tips and resources for next steps in feeding your baby.
